Why Indigenous Women Connected Exists
Digital skills are increasingly essential for running and growing a business, yet many Indigenous women have not always had access to training that is practical, supportive and culturally safe. Indigenous Women Connected was created to help bridge this gap by providing accessible digital skills, mentoring and support. The initiative empowers Indigenous women to build confidence online, share their stories, promote their businesses and connect with wider opportunities in the digital world.
Digital Skills Training for Indigenous Women
Indigenous Women Connected is an initiative designed to support Indigenous women to build confidence, skills and opportunities in the digital world. Through practical training, mentoring and support, the program helps women strengthen their online presence, promote their businesses and connect with customers, community and opportunity.

Who Indigenous Women Connected Supports
Indigenous Women Connected is designed for Indigenous women who:
• are starting or growing a business and want to strengthen their online presence
• are wanting to learn social media, digital marketing and how to use digital tools with confidence
• want to share their stories, promote their work and learn in a supportive, culturally safe environment
How We Deliver
Indigenous Women Connected delivers practical learning opportunities designed to build real digital confidence and capability.
Programs may include:
• hands-on digital skills workshops
• social media and digital marketing training
• website creation and online presence support
• mentoring and small group coaching
• community learning sessions and networking opportunities
Our approach is practical, supportive and culturally safe, allowing women to learn at their own pace while building confidence in the digital world.

Collaborate With Us
We welcome collaboration with councils, Aboriginal organisations, community groups, business networks and other organisations who want to support digital capability for Indigenous women.
Collaboration may include:
• hosting Indigenous Women Connected workshops in your community
• partnering with us to deliver digital skills training programs
• supporting initiatives that help Indigenous women build online businesses
Workshops and programs are delivered by Diversified Business Skills through the Indigenous Women Connected initiative, in partnership with local organisations.
Indigenous Women Connected workshops can be delivered in partnership with councils, Aboriginal Land Councils, Indigenous organisations, chambers of commerce and community groups across Australia.
Support Indigenous Women Connected
Support from organisations and partners helps expand opportunities for Indigenous women to build digital skills and grow their businesses.
Support may include:
• sponsoring digital skills workshops or programs
• supporting community learning events
• providing resources or funding to expand the initiative
Support can be financial or in-kind.
